The Golf Club Payerne is located in the city of Payerne, in the canton of Vaud in Switzerland, about 30 minutes from Lausanne and Fribourg. It is located in a peaceful and green setting.
The Golf Club Payerne course is an 18-hole par 72, designed by the famous French golf architect Jeremy Pern. It is built on an undulating terrain with wide fairways and natural obstacles such as trees and ponds. The well-placed bunkers and fast greens require great precision and a well thought-out playing strategy.
The course starts with a relatively easy par 4 hole, then things quickly get complicated with water hazards and well placed bunkers. It is 5,149 meters long from the yellow tees and 5,445 from the yellow tees, including :
- 6 holes par 3
- 8 holes par 4
- 4 holes by 5
It allows all levels of players, beginners and advanced, to have fun. If needed, you can take private or group golf lessons offered by the club's teaching-pro.
The course is open from March to November, offering the possibility to play golf during most of the year.
The Payerne Golf Club has a driving range and a pro-shop. There is also a restaurant with a terrace overlooking the course. It is open to the public and available for the organization of various events (seminars, birthdays or family celebrations).
